Albums
The discography of the American rock band Toto includes 13 studio albums, four live albums, as well as a number of compilations. Before Toto was formed The members of the band performed sessions for other musicians. Drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and keyboardist David Paich (the son of session drummer Marty Paich and brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro) played on Boz Scaggs album from 1975 Silk Degrees. The collaboration led to the formation of Toto in 1976.
Turn Back, Toto's third studio album was criticized by critics for the absence of hit singles. In 1985 the group's singer Fergie Fredericksen quit The band held auditions to find a new frontman. Guitarist Steve Lukather was chosen, and the band recorded the 1986 album Fahrenheit.
In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by re-discovering demos and tapes from the past to release a special edition called Toto XX. The album was well-loved by fans and Toto embarked on the tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
Shem von Schröck took over Leland Sklar as drummer during the tour in support of the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live album titled Falling in Between, which included recordings from the tour and an interview with the band.

In 1983 the band released Toto IV, which earned an international acclaim. After the album's success The band embarked on a world tour support of the album. The tour was interrupted when Bobby Kimball, the lead vocalist, was arrested for drug charges. The band decided to let him go at the conclusion of the tour and then hired guitarist and singer Joseph Williams in his place. David Hungate, the drummer also quit the band following the tour. He was replaced by bassist Leland Sklar.
The TOTO Museum is a futuristic building with several exhibition rooms that are dedicated to presenting the story of the company and its most innovative products. Its exhibits include toilets faucets, and tableware that have contributed to the expansion of the TOTO brand over the last half century. The museum is home to special exhibits all throughout the year.

The track "Africa" is from the album Toto IV, was written by the band members and produced by David Paich. The song was written by members of the band and was produced by David Paich. In 1998, Toto started working on the project titled Old Is New. This album featured three new tracks and several completed recordings of older songs. The album became a huge success and the band toured on tour to promote it.

Toto, known for the popular song "Africa", recently came together to promote their latest album, All In. The album debuted on November 6, 2018, and included three brand new tracks from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun, plus recorded versions of four older tracks that featured Jeff Porcaro on drums and either Mike or Steve Porcaro on bass. The album also included a cover of Weezer's song "Hash Pipe" which the band opted to include after hearing a rendition on the radio.
